about
This song is a huge, triumphant, slap in the face to all the naysayers out there. There is a great deal of discouragement with releasing any form of art. The work I put into my art and the releasing of it is well worth the results, and people tell me all kinds of crazy things. I do know that whenever someone tells me I can't do something, I look them dead in the eye and say, "watch me."
lyrics
VERSE 1:
Yes I bloody can. (x2)
Been told too many times,
I can't do this or that.
Been there done it now,
and there ain't no looking back.
I'm tired of the same routine,
as everyone already knows.
Looking for a yes out here,
to hell with all the sour notes.
CHORUS:
Yes I bloody can. (x5)
VERSE 2:
Seems like you're not hearin'
What's coming from my lips,
left and right swayin',
to avoid my fingertip.
Looks like the same sad stare
that plagues me day by day.
It's all in the way that I say.
Yes I bloody can. (x2)
CHORUS:
Yes I bloody can. (x4)
VERSE 3:
You might seem to have some give,
in what I think, say, and do.
In fact you're not so wrong,
I'm a really big fan of you.
Everytime you say no way,
Looking like a shame to know.
Making my cauldron burn,
as the embers glow hot below.
CHORUS:
Yes I bloody can. (x6)
