about
This is literally my very first structured song, and it is approximately 23 years old (as of the release date). I revived it, dusted off this song, and decided to record it. Before October 2019, this song has never been shared or recorded on anything with anyone, except a piece of paper and that paper isn't anywhere to be found to this day.
Although this song is spelled suicide backwards, it really tells of a time of confusion, and curiosity, rather than depression or sadness. Emotional, yes, but as the hourglass fills with sand, emotions accompany the band.
lyrics
Hello world, it feels so great to take on another day.
Hello fate, the problems I have just don't seem to go away.
Hello blood, leaking from my inner flesh and veins.
This here soul, inside the existence of this pain still remains.
This dull knife, it has the power to slit my weary throat.
Once you let it be, it will sink in you like a perforated boat.
This here gun, it takes away the thrill of it all.
Look down below, and wonder what it's going to feel like to fall.
Hello death, it feels so great to look you in the eye.
My whole life, is smothered by the abyss up in the sky.
Goodbye life, it doesn't feel right to wonder why.
Hello death, the only thing left to say now's goodbye.
This dull knife, it has the power to slit my weary throat.
Once you let it be, it will sink in you like a perforated boat.
This here gun, it takes away the thrill of it all.
Look down below, and wonder what it's going to feel like to fall.
This dull knife, it has the power to slit my weary throat.
Once you let it be, it will sink in you like a perforated boat.
This here gun, it takes away the thrill of it all.
Look down below, and wonder what it's going to feel like to fall.
Look down below, and wonder what it's going to feel like to fall.
Go!
Go!
Look down below, and wonder what it's going to feel like to fall.
