about
From the depths of the biggest bodies of water emerges an entity. One that shines within miles of the waves, the glimmering sheen of scale beneath the disastrous crashing surface of the sea. For centuries, pirates, fisherman, and other kindred creatures told stories of a mermaid who may call out to the hearts of those who see it.
As the decades past, and the stories became household customary practices, the elusive creature was told to be almost as mysterious as the sea and undine that swim amongst her. Apparitions fade, and so do beginnings and endings, this one repeats itself like the lines in a chorus, and akin to that of histories repetitive journeys. However the story goes, I'm hoping you'll think of a journey in which you are able to visualize or even recall a time where you could see something extraordinary, that couldn't be explained that you were fearful to tell anyone about for whatever reason.
Head first we sink, to get more close to the elusiveness we seek, so take another dose of air before we go beneath. A story of a rush few will live to tell about at sea.
lyrics
The very thing that cools me off gets me hot.
It comes as a surprise more often than not.
When she opens her valve, it makes me owe her.
Came as a small price as I got to show her.
Don't be so afraid, step into the light.
It's the kinda race I could run all night.
Don't be so ashamed, come closer.
You'll feel more safe when I get to hold ya.
The very thing that cools me off gets me hot.
It comes as as a surprise more often than not.
